The Wichita/Hutchinson Labor Federation, AFL-CIO would like to invite you to our Annual Labor  Day Picnic at the Machinists Hall, 3830 S. Meridian on Saturday, September 1st from noon-4:00 PM.
This year we are joining with the IAM L.L. 839 car show, plus offering our usual free food, fun, prizes, and bingo! The event is free and open to the public, so bring the whole family.
The event celebrates workers who keep our country strong; working people who are the backbone of our economy and the fuel that keeps America running. The work of each of us depends on another. It’s how we support  our families and interact with our communities to make a difference. We especially recognize those who want to work but are unable to find jobs in an economy still reeling from the biggest financial crisis in 75 years—a crisis working people didn’t cause, but for which they have paid such a heavy price.
